Kenny Jackett believes that Millwall are making steady progress after watching his side extend their unbeaten pre-season run to four games with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Spurs.
Saturday's behind-closed-doors friendly at The Den gave boss Kenny an opportunity to try out a 4-3-3 formation with Gary Alexander, Ahmet Brkovic and Dave Martin forming a three-pronged attack.
And it was Alexander who scored a glorious equaliser on 73 minutes to ensure that the honours were even against a Spurs side that included internationals such as Paul Stalteri, Steed Malbranque, Young Pyo Lee and Kevin-Prince Boateng.
"That was a good work out," said Kenny. "We dominated possession. Our fitness, our shape, our passing and our hunger had stepped up a notch from what we have seen so far."
