Millwall Lionesses recent upturn in form continued as they held QPR Ladies to a 1-1 draw in their League Cup group match.
Millwall and The R's are in a group alongside Charlton Athletic, Gillingham and Brighton, with everyone playing each other once, and made a positive start to the competition against their London rivals.
Charltotte Gurr was on hand to strike for The Lionesses in the 50th minute and it not been for some misplaced shots and some heroic goalkeeping, either team could have snatched victory.
On Tuesday night, The Lionesses took on Scottish opposition when they faced St Andrews University in a friendly. A dominant performance allowed them to coast past their opponenets and they ran out comfortable 11-0 winners. Kasia Viggor led the way with five, whilst Nicha Dyett and Egle Trezzi notched a brace each. Angharad Chambers and Eve Gilroy completed the scoring.
