Keith served his football apprenticeship at Spurs and joined Millwall in June 1967. Playing alongside or just behind Derek Possee, Millwall had their best strike force for years. Keith had great skill on the ball, innovative and like Possee, a blistering turn of speed. He quickly became a crowd favourite. He left for Chelsea in 1970 for £100,000, and then to Leicester City in 1971 for eight seasons. |

While with Millwall, Keith captained the F.A team in New Zealand in 1969, won England caps and represented the Football League while with Leicester. Undoubtedly one of the most talented players ever to wear the blue and white colours of Millwall. He was also Chelsea's top scorer in his only season at Stamford Bridge. |
