 Phil Walker
Phil joined Millwall from non league Epsom and Ewell in
1975.He played in the Millwall side that won promotion
to Division 2 in 1976.He formed a formidable midfield
partnership with Terry Brisley and was at his best when
Millwall won the last 6 matches in the 1977-78 season
to narrowly avoid relegation. He was a hard tackling ball
winner and loved to get forward into the penalty area
looking for an opportunity to score with a header or put in
a shot at goal. He had good passing skills and a turn of pace that left
 many defenders in trouble.

played 80 League matches plus nine substitute
appearances for them between 1979 and 1982. He then
went on to play in Hong Kong and then to Boavista in
Portugal. He played in  the UEFA Cup for them in 1983.
He is currently an Assistant Manager of a second
division side based in Porto. Phil was a guest at the Den
in the 1999/2000 season for the anti-racism match and
