Up for the Cup

Posted on: Tue 07 Feb 2012

Millwall take a break from the pressure of Championship survival when they head to the south coast for tonight's FA Cup Fourth Round Replay at Southampton.
But according to assistant boss Joe Gallen, The Lions trip to St Mary's will be a timely reminder as to just why the team must avoid the dreaded drop back down to League One.
"Moving up the League is the priority," said Joe, "But going to places like Southampton and West Ham United, where there are big crowds and atmospheres, is exactly why we wanted to get out of League One in the first place and why we don't want to go back there.
All the games for us are big at the moment, and although the League is most important, we will be going to Southampton with the belief that we can get through."
A full interview with Joe is now available on Lions Player. Click here to subscribe. Not going to St Mary's tonight? Full live match commentary will be available on Player from around five minutes before kick-off.
