Kenny Jackett believes the vocal backing of Lions fans can play an enormous part in contributing to a positive and memorable day when promotion and local rivals Charlton Athletic visit The Den.
The two teams lock horns in a competitive fixture in SE16 for the first time in 15 years - with around 17,600 supporters snapping up every ticket on sale for this mouthwatering showdown.
Promotion points as well as bragging rights are at stake - and Lions boss Kenny knows just how important The Den faithful's input will be.
"We had around 200 fans at Carlisle on Tuesday night, which considering the journey and the fact that many had to go into work the next day was exceptional," he said.
"The noise and backing the players got really helped, no doubt. We're all in this together and that's why everyone went over at the final whistle to applaud our supporters who had made the long journey. It was a spontaneous and genuine show of our appreciation.
Saturday will be my biggest attendance as manager at The Den and it will be great to see the place packed.
In terms of the atmosphere and how we play on the day, there is no doubt the crowd will be key, just as they were at Carlisle on Tuesday.
Both myself and the players are aware of how important this game is to the fans; I could see - and hear! - that in the first match at their place with the crowd and the atmosphere, which was fantastic.
It was a very good game and the return fixture was always going to be a bit special.
I'm sure it will be the same tomorrow. We all know just how significant it is."
