Lions boss Kenny Jackett is waiting on fitness reports on both Liam Trotter and Shaun Batt as Millwall make the trip to MK Dons tonight.
The duo picked up minor injuries at Adams Park on Saturday, but the manager is happy he has sufficient cover if neither make it.
"We'll give them both as long as possible before making a decision," stated Kenny. "If they are not fit then we have cover in both positions. Marc Laird and Jack Smith are on the way back but not in time for this match.
This is a big game for both teams and we're looking forward to putting the memory of Saturday firmly behind us by putting in a good performance and hopefully picking up three points to push us back towards the top six."
MK Dons give late tests to striker Sam Baldock (knee) and defender Matt Doumbe (hamstring).
Centre backs Sean O'Hanlon and Darren Powell are both ruled out while midfielder Stephen Gleason is suspended. Ex-Lions favourite Alex Rae (40), the first team coach at stadium:mk has been pressed into action twice in recent weeks.
He would be sure to get a warm reception from the 1,100 travelling fans should he get the call from Paul Ince. But with David McCracken and Danny Woodards fit again Alex may be able to keep his track suit on.
