Kenny Jackett paid fulsome tribute to The Den faithful for the part they played in helping Millwall fight back from a 1-0 deficit to snatch a valuable point against Gillingham.
He said: "They really stuck with us, even when things were getting very frustrating and ball after ball was going into the Gillingham box without us getting on the end of it.
If the crowd had turned, we probably would have conceded a second goal and lost the game. But they didn't, and the players responded.
I'm frustrated again because had we taken our chances we would have won the game comfortably, but with Crewe losing at least a draw keeps us in with a fighting chance."
