Kenny Jackett insists that Millwall must keep it tight defensively and remain totally focussed for the full 90 minutes if his men are to see off Gillingham in Saturday's Den clash.
No-one is more aware than boss Kenny that The Lions have conceded late goals in three of their last four matches against Leyton Orient (0-1), Oldham (1-1) and Bournemouth (0-2) - all of which have seen valuable points dropped.
And he has drummed into his players how vital it is that they finish Saturday's game against their relegation rivals as strongly as they start it.
"The last half hour of a game is, in my opinion, vital - possibly even the most important part of a match," he said.
"There are more goals scored in this period than any other, and games are very rarely settled one way or the other before the final third of a game.
As a team and also as supporters, it is important to recognise this.
A good start is important, but a good finish to a game is crucial in earning points and winning matches."
