Brentford U18s 2 Millwall U18s 0

Millwall youngsters slipped to a pre-season friendly defeat at Brentford's Osterley Park on Saturday morning.
In the opening exchanges Lions youngster Jimmy Rogers set up fellow midfielder Kamil Tefvik for an effort on goal which flew wide, but there was little between the teams in the following half an hour as both sides fought it out in the middle of the park.
The game did eventually spark into life on 32 minutes when visiting goalkeeper Laurie Walker did well to push away a close range effort and in Millwall's next attack Rogers fired over following neat work by Gary Bowes.
A good run on the left by Grant Ludford resulted in a freekick which he took himself and from the set-play central defender Charley Reed rattled the crossbar with a first-time volley.
But it was The Bees who broke the deadlock after 37 minutes with s slick move and controlled finish placed past keeper Walker.
Scott Fitzgerald made a few changes to The Lions line-up at the break and his side certainly came out at the start of the second-half looking in determined mood.
Lyle Taylor, Keirnan Mason and Bowes all went close in the early stages before a perfectly weighted ball by Rogers found Mason, but he was denied by a brave save from the home keeper.
A cross was plucked from Pat O'Connor's head just as he was about to nod home and Taylor saw his close range shot blocked following some clever interplay involving Tefvik, Bowes and Mason as Millwall pressed on in search of an equaliser.
But it was the home side who doubled their lead in the 79th minute against the run of play with a close range finish following a corner.
The Lions were denied a late consolation goal when a short freekick by Tefvik was picked up by Danny Keen, but his 20-yarder flew inches wide of the mark.
