Millwall have breathed fresh life into their League One campaign because the squad "clicked" over the festive period, according to striker Lee Gregory.
"We are unbeaten over the past five games and I think our recent form is a testament to that," he told millwallfc.co.uk. "We have been inconsistent for a lot of the season but now we have clicked and we are reaping the rewards."
The Lions are currently sitting in 10th on the congested League table, but are among four teams that can move into the play-off positions with a win this weekend.
"Christmas has been very kind to us and we are in good form. It was the same time last year that we really kicked on and we are hoping to emulate that."
Millwall have scored two or more goals in their past five games and Gregory has praised the 'unlikely lads' for finding their shooting boots.
Defender Shaun Cummings scored just his second goal for The Lions in Saturday's Emirates FA Cup upset over AFC Bournemouth.
"Every time we step onto the pitch we believe we are going to score. We know we are going to make good chances and, as long as we are winning, I don't care who scores.
Millwall will be heartened by their dominant display against the Addicks last month but know a trip to The Valley is no easy task.
"The fans are going to turn up on Saturday and we know that Charlton Athletic will have a score to settle after we beat them at The Den. It's going to be fast-paced, exciting and we are all looking forward to it."
